The second weekend Diana and Chet were here, we hiked Devil’s Thumb, a trail just passed Winter Park. We hiked for over three hours but didn’t quite make it to the tree line. However, we passed several small waterfalls, rolling brooks and a moose!

That is not a moose.
I’m pretty sure it’s a mule left over from the prospecting days.
Don’t let Chet fool you just cuz you are a greenhorn.
Are you kidding me? Those pictures are amazing! I hope you don’t ever take for granted the beautiful scenery you are able to look at every day. I know I don’t….oh the beautiful corn (ha,ha)!
was it your last hike?
It was a pleasant day and the hike was made memorable by my companions, mostly. The moose was cool though. The photo’s are beautiful and the captioning inspired. Aubryn, flattery will get you everywhere!
We had such a grand time that we’re already planning our return trip this fall for more scenery and more great beer. Love ya…
