After many months of discussion, I finally arranged the long-awaited Colfax Bar Crawl. Living in the awesome LoHi neighborhood, Adam and I rarely have a good excuse to leave. However, after hearing so many great things about many of the bars along the Colfax strip, we couldn’t resist.
On May 30, we gathered with several of our funnest friends to explore this part of town. Our journey included Cheeky Monk (534 E. Colfax Ave.), an awesome Belgium beer bar, The Irish Snug (1201 E Colfax Ave # 100), an excellent Irish pub, Squire (1800 E Colfax Ave) a sketchy dive bar, Satire, a newly-renovated space, The Lions Lair (2022 E Colfax Ave), probably the most random bar I’ve ever been to, and Rock Bar (3015 E Colfax Ave), a dirty college party bar and the perfect place to end the evening.
