A few weeks ago, several friends and I camped at Echo Lake. Just an hour outside of Denver, Echo Lake is a gorgeous body of water located at the base of Mt. Evans. Brynn, Meggie, Gina and I drove up Friday afternoon and met Craig and Andrea to begin our weekend of fun. (Adam was in DC for Joe’s Bachelor party).
Friday evening we dined on chili and my new favorite summer treat – Clamato and Bud Light. Saturday morning, Andrea and Craig rose bright and early to climb Mt Bierstadt. The rest of us woke several hours later and headed to Georgetown for a spectacular breakfast at The Happy Cooker.
Arriving back at camp early Saturday afternoon, we pulled out our lounge chairs and enjoyed the warm, mountain sun, complimented by a few more Clamato and Bud Lights 
. That evening, Brynn cooked an amazing meal of steak, potatoes and asparagus.
I spent Sunday at Brynn and Gina’s beautiful home in Cherry Creek. We enjoyed homemade pizzas while relaxing on their back porch.
