In November, Adam and I took at trip to California to visit several of our bestest friends. I flew in to LA on Thursday night. Stefanie picked me up and we headed to her beautiful apartment in Santa Monica. Thursday night Stefanie and I dined at The Bazaar at the SLS Hotel. It was amazing!
Friday we spent the day walking around Santa Monica, enjoying a wonderful lunch and some shopping. We then went to Stef’s favorite nail salon for manicures and pedicures. They were very attentive (aka aggressive). You want massage? You want paraffin? You want callus remover? It was quite entertaining. On Friday, Stef, Adam and I had drinks overlooking Santa Monica and then enjoyed a wonderful meal at Houston’s.
On Saturday, I headed down to Huntington Beach for Whip’s surprise 30th-birthday celebration. Not only did Whip not know Adam and I were coming to LA, he had no idea Dana, Ben and Jen planned an all day, golf-themed, bar crawl in his honor. We arrived at a local bar at noon to kick off the event. Whip was sooo happy, and we all had a great time.
